Furnished Rentals provides beautifully appointed furnished accommodation for short term rental. All properties are fully furnished and set up so guests just need to bring their suitcases to enjoy a home away from home experience.

Properties can be booked for any length of time and we can usually cater for any special requirements.

We offer Pet Friendly Accommodation in Auckland. We understand that pets are part of a family so most of our properties are pet friendly.

Our Story

Furnished Rentals was founded by Amy Rennell and was born out of a fantastic experience Amy had with renting her own house to guests on a fully furnished short term basis. Amy has many years experience in the market and has developed excellent relationships with guests, many now regular returning customers.

Amy is passionate about travel and tourism and wants to showcase New Zealand to the world. She has travelled extensively herself and has worked internationally hosting guest houses and managing tour groups.

Amy has styled homes for interior magazines and has an eye for detail to help you style and present your house in a manner that will attract guests and optimise rental return.

There is a shortage of accommodation in Auckland and more and more travellers are disillusioned with staying in overpriced hotels which are impersonal and often unavailable.

A rise in usage of holiday home rental websites like Bookabach, HomeAway, Holiday Houses, and Airbnb, shows a demand for short term furnished accommodation that offers a 'home away from home' experience. This creates an opportunity to maximise exposure of your property to generate high occupancy rates and convert this to excellent rental income. The popularity of short term rentals is set to continue with increasing inbound tourism in New Zealand putting stress on traditional accommodation.
